EXPERIENCE

Laura joined DGC in 2000 and is a Partner in the Private Clients Group. She has over 15 years of industry experience providing tax planning, consulting services, and tax compliance for a wide range of clients, including high net worth individuals, expatriates, private foundations and closely held businesses. Prior to joining DGC, Laura was at a large, regional CPA firm.


EXPERTISE

Laura's areas of expertise include tax planning and compliance for high net worth individuals and international taxation for individuals. She has advised clients on such issues as stock options and compensation planning, philanthropic planning alternatives, and foreign reporting related to hedge fund and trading investments. She manages major foreign accounts in the U.S. and overseas, she works closely with tax advisors worldwide to provide a comprehensive approach to her clients' multinational tax issues, and has special expertise in administering expatriate tax programs for multinational corporations.

Laura is also responsible for pioneering and implementing the firm's paperless environment campaign in 2001 and continues to develop policy and procedures for the process.
