Sheila is a noted practitioner in tax-planned charitable giving, advising not-for-profit institutions and providing information to individuals on the tax aspects of their personal philanthropy.
She has provided analyses of pending gift-related legislation; coordinated cy pres actions; trained fundraising staff of educational institutions; and lectured extensively on the tax aspects of charitable planned gifts, having conducted 50+ estate planning workshops.
Sheila has also provided content for gift planning websites; established S.E.C. compliance procedures and gift management policies; and written technical publications.
