Monday, a partner with Foley & Lardner LLP, counsels companies and their owners on governance, operations, and ownership issues, including entity formation/organization, raising capital, securities laws, asset protection, business growth and expansion, leadership/ownership succession, acquisition, and exit planning. Mr. Monday also has an extensive estate planning and estates & trusts practice, focusing on the needs of business owners and their families.  Mr. Monday stresses long-term planning and contingency planning to help owners protect and realize the full value of their businesses through operations and upon liquidation or transfer of their interests.

Mr. Monday is vice chair of the firm's Commercial Transactions & Business Counseling Practice and is also a member of the firm's Transactional & Securities Practice. Mr. Monday is an adjunct professor with the University of Wisconsin Law School.

Mr. Monday graduated from the University of Wisconsin, earning his bachelor's degree, with honors, in 1985, and his J.D. degree, with honors, in 1993. During law school, he received two significant awards for legal scholarship, was admitted to the legal academic honorary society, and was editor-in-chief of the Wisconsin Law Review (1992-3). Prior to attending law school, Mr. Monday managed two closely held businesses and was on the editorial board of a national magazine for business owners.

Mr. Monday has been listed in the directory of The Best Lawyers in America® since 2001, has an "AV" rating (the highest possible rating for proficiency and ethics) in the national directory of lawyers published by Martindale-Hubbell, and has been selected for inclusion in Wisconsin Super Lawyers® lists since 2006. He is a member of the Wisconsin Bar Association.
