Ginger Skinner

Ginger Skinner's practice involves estate and gift tax planning, tax exempt organizations and estate and trust administration. She also works with closely held businesses with regard to tax planning, insurance needs, entity formation, and entity maintenance.  

Ms. Skinner is a member of the Oregon Bar.  She is the founder of Skinner Law Group, LLC.  Prior to founding this firm, she was an associate attorney at Hanna Strader, P.C., a tax boutique law firm located in Portland, Oregon. 

She has served on numerous boards and committees, including the Oregon State Bar/Oregon Certified Public Accounting Joint Committee; the Eastern Oregon University Foundation Board of Trustees; the Race for Justice Committee; as well as several other nonprofit foundations.

Ms. Skinner graduated from the University of Washington's rigorous tax law program where she received her Master of Laws (LL.M) in taxation.  She received her law degree from the University of Idaho and her Bachelor of Science degree from Eastern Oregon University, majoring in business administration.

On a personal note, she is classically trained pianist.  She loves traveling and has traveled through Southeast Asia, Russia, and Europe.  She is hoping to travel next to Central America to volunteer with a nonprofit aimed at alleviating poverty.  She also enjoys the outdoors and ran in the 2009 Hood to Coast Relay.
