Biographical Sketch: Kya Blackstone is a 3rd year law student who is interested in International Corporate Law and Taxation. This past summer she was a Summer Associate at a prestigious international Portuguese law firm in the Corporate and Technologies Groups. Besides being an associate editor for the Wealth Strategies Journal, Kya Blackstone is an intern with the International Division of the Federal Trade Commission, and a legal fellow at the Small Business and Community Economic Development Clinic at The George Washington University Law School. Prior to attending GW Law, she worked for a white collar criminal defense law firm in New York City and was a member of the education department at the New York Historical Society.
