Alvin M. Feit is the Senior Tax Member with the Tax Group of Watkins, Meegan, Drury & Co., LLC.  He provides technical assistance and oversight for tax matters.  He has more than 30 years of experience in all areas of federal, state, and local taxation and with the Internal Revenue Service.

Al joined the firm in 1981 after twelve years with the Internal Revenue Service and has proved invaluable as an Internal Revenue Service liaison. He has represented a broad spectrum of clients in tax matters including audits, appeal of audit adjustments, collections, offers in compromise, and penalty appeals.  His background as a Tax Attorney and CPA enables him to work closely with the firm's clients by coordinating tax and accounting problems.

Al's Internal Revenue Service experience includes six years as a Revenue Agent, four years as an Appeals Officer, and two years as a Member of the Staff of the Director of the Appeals Division, where he coordinated field operations and developed policy for the Appeals Division.

Al earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and his Juris Doctor from the University of Maryland.  He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants, the American Bar Association, and the Maryland State Bar Association.
