Michael R. Savage is currently the a Senior Vice President at U.S. Trust.  Previous to his work at U.S. Trust, he worked for Ernst & Young for ten years as a Senior Manager in the Personal Financial Services Practice.

Mr. Savage's primary specialties are financial and tax planning for executives and high net worth individuals, focusing on equity compensation planning.  Additionally, Michael has extensive experience in investment planning, education planning, estate planning and charitable giving. 

Mr. Savage received his B.A., magna cum laude, from the University of Colorado at Boulder, and his J.D. from the University of Colorado School of Law, where he also received a Tax Certificate. 

Mr. Savage is a member the District of Columbia Bar, Colorado Bar, a Certified Financial Planner® and a Registered Investment Advisor.
