Linda J. Ravdin, a principal in the law firm of Pasternak & Fidis, P.C., where she concentrates in divorce and family law. She is the author of TM 849, Marital Agreements (Tax Management, Inc, 2003), a guide for divorce and estate planning lawyers to drafting premarital, postmarital and domestic partnership agreements. She is also the co-author of Domestic Relations Manual for the District of Columbia (Lexis Nexis Matthew Bender, 2002), the first comprehensive treatise on divorce and family law of the District of Columbia.

Ms. Ravdin is a facilitator in the D.C. Superior Court Family Court Alternative Dispute Resolution program and she serves as a volunteer with the D.C. Superior Court Self-Help Center. She has taught continuing legal education courses and has written for the American Bar Association and for Washington, D.C. metro area bar associations on a variety of divorce related topics, including equitable distribution of property at divorce, dividing retirement benefits at divorce, and premarital agreements.

Ms. Ravdin is licensed to practice in the District of Columbia, Maryland and Virginia. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers.

In 1995, 2000 and 2004 Washingtonian Magazine named Ms. Ravdin one of the metro area's best divorce lawyers. She received her law degree from the George Washington University Law School in 1974.
