Jerome M. Hesch is with the national law firm of Greenberg Traurig P.A. in its Miami, Florida office and is a member of ACTEC.
Mr. Hesch is an Adjunct Professor at the University of Miami School of
Law, Graduate Programs in Estate Planning and Taxation, and the
University of Buffalo Law School. He has appeared on CLE programs
throughout the country, such as the NYU Annual Institute on Taxation,
the AICPA and the Heckerling Institute on Estate Planning.
Mr. Hesch served on the Drafting Committee of the Florida Revised
Uniform Partnership Act and the Florida Governor's Unitary Tax Study
Committee.
Mr. Hesch has published extensively, including a law school casebook on
Federal income taxation now in its third edition. He received his
bachelor's and master's degrees from the University of Michigan and his
law degree from the University of Buffalo.
Mr. Hesch was with the Office of Chief Counsel, Internal Revenue
Service, Washington, D.C. from 1970 to 1975, and was a full-time law
professor from 1975 through 1994.
