Jennifer E. Myers, CFP is the President and owner of Sage Financial Management Group, Inc. (Sage), an investment management and financial advisory firm. Ms. Myers holds over a decade of experience in advising individuals, families, estates and small businesses on a range of investment and financial matters. She provides comprehensive investment advisory, financial and wealth management services with an objective of integrating complex financial matters into understandable, manageable and successful financial strategies.
Ms. Myers serves as the firm's Chief Investment Advisor determining strategic decision making among investment portfolios and actively working with the firm's clients to ensure that portfolios are aligned with individual needs and objectives.
Ms. Myers' career has always incorporated financial planning as a component of the investment management process providing true wealth management services to her clients.
Ms. Myers is an active member in the professional community. She serves as Director of the Washington, D.C. Estate Planning Council and is Co-Chair of the Council's Morris B. Hariton Forum, a multidisciplinary case study group exploring complex estate planning issues. She previously Co-Chaired the Communications Committee, of which she remains a member, and served as Co-Editor of the Council's newsletter. Ms. Myers also is an active member of the Financial Planning Association (FPA) and serves as a mentor under the FPA's Mentoring Program.
Ms. Myers has been quoted in The Journal of Financial Planning, The Washington Post and on CNN Money, has written articles for the Washington, D.C. Estate Planning Council and has spoken on multitude of subjects including prudent financial strategies, current economic updates, 401(k) investment considerations, family financial education and issues relating to children and money.
Prior to establishing Sage, Ms. Myers served as Partner and Vice President of Freed Myers, a wealth management firm in Chevy Chase, MD. She has also provided financial and business analysis for Unisys and the U.S. Postal Service.
