Gregory Rupert counsels individuals and closely-held businesses on matters involving federal tax issues, with a focus on estate and business succession planning. Mr. Rupert also advises clients on general business issues and international tax matters in conjunction with sophisticated estate and trust planning.

Mr. Rupert advises clients on a broad range of tax, estate and business matters, including estate freezing techniques, gift planning using valuation discounts, generation-skipping transfer tax issues, trust design and administration, estate administration and income tax issues concerning trusts and estates. He also helps clients on issues concerning closely-held corporation and partnership design and organization, partner and shareholder agreements, insurance planning, asset protection planning, resident alien and international estate and gift tax issues, deferred charitable gift planning, and tax controversy resolution.

Before joining the firm, Mr. McNair was the managing partner at the Tyson's Corner office of a D.C.-based law firm. He also served as a partner for more than 15 years at a Washington, D.C. law firm.
