F. Peter Conaty is a director with the law firm of Martin, Conaty and Lunger, P.A. in Wilmington, Delaware.
He received his B.S. in Accounting from the University of Delaware in
1989, his J.D., cum laude, from Temple University School of Law in 1992
and his LL.M in Taxation, with distinction, in 2001 from Georgetown
University School of Law.
Mr. Conaty is admitted to the practice of law before all Delaware
Courts, the Delaware District Court and the United States Tax Court.
He is a member of the Delaware Bar, the American Bar Association
Section on Real Property, Probate and Trust Law, the Estates and Trusts
Section and the Tax Section of the Delaware Bar Association. He is
past Chairman of the Estates and Trusts Section of the Delaware Bar
Association.
Mr. Conaty is also a member of the Estate Planning Council of
Delaware. Mr. Conaty's practice is focused primarily in the areas of
Estate Planning, Probate, Taxation, Tax Planning and Wealth
Preservation.
Mr. Conaty is the co-author of "Practical Considerations in Drafting a Delaware Asset Protection Trust" 30 Tax Mgmt. Est., Gifts & Tr. J. 117 (Mar. 2005).
