Ms. Brown holds a Juris Doctor with a Certificate in Health Law from DePaul University College of Law, a Master of Health Administration from Tulane University, and a Master of Laws in Taxation from University of Miami School of Law. By way of background, Ms. Brown has participated in the legal, financial and administrative oversight of multi-million dollar conglomerates, where she has provided advice on tax, business and regulatory matters. She has served as business advisor and counsel to universities, academic medical centers, professional associations, long-term care facilities, group practices, and private practitioners.

Ms. Brown’s experience in healthcare administration was the major catalyst is her decision to obtain a Juris Doctor from DePaul University College of Law in Chicago, Illinois and LL.M. in Taxation from the University of Miami School of Law. In addition to her traditional legal curriculum, Anne has supplemented her studies with a Certificate in Health Law. While at DePaul Anne served on the Editorial Board of the DePaul Journal of Healthcare Law, the Health Law Institute Student Board of Directors, and served among the Founding Board of the Health Law Institute’s Moot Court Team. During law school, Ms. Brown worked within the legal Departments of the American Medical Association and the American Dental Association assisting counsel in providing legal advice to the Association’s professional members. Anne’s post graduate employment includes providing representation and serving as legal counsel to multimillion dollar corporations, nonprofit organizations, and private practitioners.

Ms. Brown has written several articles on healthcare law and administration that have been featured in a variety of publications.

Anne joined the Wealth Strategies Journal as an Associate Editor in 2012.
