Dr. Moses assumed his position as Professor of Finance at the Crummer Graduate School of Business in September 1989, became Director of the Executive MBA Program in September 1991, and held the position of Dean of the Crummer Graduate School of Business from May 1994 to May 2000. In June 1994 he was named as the recipient of an endowed chair, the Bank of America Professor of Finance. He has held positions as Dean of the College of Business Administration at the University of North Florida, Associate Dean, Director of Graduate Programs, Chairman and Professor of Finance at the University of Central Florida. He has also held faculty positions at Georgia State University, and the University of Tulsa.
Education
Dr. Moses received a B.S. in accounting from the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School of Business and a MBA and Ph.D., with a major in finance, from the University of Georgia. His research in corporate finance, investments, and trust law has appeared in numerous peer-reviewed journals and he has written six textbooks in the areas of investments and corporate finance. He has received many awards for teaching excellence.
Positions
Dr. Moses has served as an expert consultant/witness in over thirty assignments involving fiduciary responsibilities associated with trusts. He has also served on the Board of Directors for three publicly listed companies.
Dr. Moses currently holds a position as a faculty member in the Graduate School of Banking of the South and the Florida Graduate Trust School. He has served as President of both the Eastern Finance Association and the Southern Finance Association.
