Court Stops Short of Forcing Sale of Home to Collect Trust Fund Penalties

United States District Court for the District of New Jersey recently reduced to judgment trust fund recovery penalties assessed against an individual in United States v. Gary S. Cardaci et al. (No. 1:12-cv-05402) (Doc 2013-25103). The court also granted default judgment against two companies with interests in property the government seeks to foreclose, but the court declined to decide at this time whether to force the sale of the home the individual owns with his wife.
