In an article entitled Louisiana Prenuptial Agreements: Issues for Contemporary Spouses, the author Elizabeth Ruth Carter discusses how prenuptial agreements can benefit nearly all couples, particularly in community property states such as Louisiana.  The paper examines in detail the demographic trends at issue among married couples and identifies areas of concern to be analyzed and addressed in a prenuptial agreement.
