Carl Richards, a certified financial planner in Park City, Utah and director of investor education at BAM Advisor services, explains that the solution for investors ignorant as to where and how to invest is to diversify. Spreading the wealth allows for hit and misses that are not too costly. Even the most successful investors know that they can't know everything.
