The Congressional Research Service (CRS) has complied a list of all tax provisions scheduled to expire after 2012. Congress may extend all the provisions, allow them to expire, or extend some of them while allowing the rest to expire. The main provisions set to expire include the social security payroll tax cut, the "Bush tax cuts", and the estate and gift taxes.
