In a survey comprised by Ameriprise, people born between the years of 1946 and 1964 have shown less confidence in the country's financial state. In five years, trust and optimism in national and personal economics has fallen by two-thirds and 39 percent, respectfully. Children of baby boomers have also shown a distrust in their financial future.
