Republican presidential candidate, Newt Gingrich has recently release his "21st Century Contract With America". The outlined tax proposals within it include a replacement of the health reform law with a tax credit or deduction for healthcare costs, lower corporate tax rates, and repeal of capital gains and estate taxes. The proposals also provide a 100% expensing for depreciable business assets, and the allowance of an optional flat tax.
