GIft Giving Tips From the IRS

The IRS recently issued year end gift giving tips for taxpayers which include:

1. IRA owners who are 70 years and above can transfer $100,000 directly to any charity tax free

2. In order to claim a deduction for clothing given away worth more than $500, that clothing must  be in good condition.
