BrightScope has released its 30 top-rated 401(k) plans for 2011. This year the Southwest Airlines Pilots' Retirement Savings Plan just squeaked by the Savings Plan of the Saudi Arabian Oil Company to claim the top spot. Also of note, in 2011 the average company was more generous with its retirement plans than in 2010. The average company provided an average of $11,000 per plan participant in 2011, up from $8,000 last year. The full top 30 list may be viewed here.
