I.R.S. Advises Tax Professionals to Get E-Filing Identification Numbers

The I.R.S. has advised tax practitioners to obtain e-file identification numbers now to prepare for new requirements in 2012. Beginning in January 2012, any paid tax professional preparing 11 or more Forms 1040 or 1041 will be required to e-file.
