Heirs of Welthy Baby Boomers Receiving Less Inheritance

TrackBacks (0) Comments (0)

Brad Tuttle recently published an article discussing how heirs of wealthy baby boomers should not assume that they will receive a large inheritance.  Mr.Tuttle discusses a recent survey of baby boomers, conducted by the investment firm U.S. Trust, that reports only 49% of millionaire boomer parents believe that leaving money to their children is a priority.  In the survey, 20% of boomers fear that their children would squander any inheritance and 25% believed that the inheritance would make their heirs lazy.
