In a Wall Street Journal article titled "State Estate Tax Changes Make Plans Trickier," Arden Dale discusses how Ohio and Connecticut have changed their respective estate tax laws.  Ohio recently repealed its estate tax and Connecticut recently lowered its estate tax exemption from $3.5 million dollars to $2 million dollars to take in more estates.  The article discusses how approximately 29 states collect no tax when someone dies.
