Americans with Financial Planners Better Prepared for Retirement

In an article titled "Asset Allocation R.I.P.?" Evan Cooper discusses a report, prepared by Putnam Invetsments, that shows Americans who worked with retirement planners had higher retirement incomes on average.  The report also suggests that most people would be better off allocating less of their assets toward high-risk investements.
