Jim Rutenberg posted an article The Long Goodbye, The New York Times, May 27, 2011.

NBC and actor Ryan O'neal engaged in a legal battle with Farah Fawcett's production partner, Craig Nevius, over a documentary relating to Fawcett's ordeal with late-stage cancer.   They argued over Fawcett's intent in creating the documentary. Nevius believed Fawcett's original intent was to expose shortcomings in American cancer treatment.  NBC and O'Neal believed the documentary was supposed to be more of a biography of Fawcett's life.
