Martin D. Begleiter, the Ellis and Nelle Levitt Distinguished Professor of Law at Drake University Law School, recently published an article entitled Trust Code--The Iowa Trust Code After Ten Years, 59 Drake L. Rev. 265 (2011).  The article discusses how the Iowa Trust Code was developed primarily by Iowa practitioners and law professors.  It traces the issues that arose and the amendments considered, adopted, and rejected over the ten years since enactment of the Iowa Trust Code and also discusses the unique process of statutory drafting underlying the development of the Code.
