Tax Notes published an article by Curtis Dubay, "The 2010 Tax Deal:  A Chance for Congress to Lay the Groundwork for Tax Reform,"  The Heritage Foundation, June 13, 2011.

The Heritage Foundation recommends the elimination of several tax reducing policies commonly referred to as "tax extenders."  Examples of these special interest tax breaks include a tax credit for the production of ethanol, a break for doing business in the District of Columbia and a credit for businesses that hire American Indians.
