With a $5 million lifetime exemption, parents are transferring a large amount of money to their descendants.  At the same time, many of these parents are setting up incentive trusts to teach their descendants a certain value system and responsibility.  However, many beneficiaries do not developing the value system encouraged by the grantors of the incentive trusts.
