Wall Street Journal: IRS Wants QuickBooks from Small Businesses

According to the Wall Street Journal in Small Businesses Fight IRS over Data, the IRS has been requesting the QuickBooks and other accounting information from small businesses (including customer lists and personnel data) in order to more aggressively collect taxes.  However, small businesses are beginning to push back, arguing that small businesses are inherently different than large corporations and should thus not be obligated under the same rules.
