Study Estimates that Baby Boomers Stand to Inherit $8.4 Trillion

The Wills, Trusts & Estates Prof Blog is reporting that a new MetLife study (Study of Inheritance and Wealth Transfer to Baby Boomers) estimates that baby boomers will inherit $8.4 trillion.  Based on 2007 data (pre-recession), the median for wealthy boomer recipients is $335,00 and for least wealthy boomer recipients is $8,000.
