Senator Max Baucus: Senate May Look at Taxing Pass-Through Entities as Corporations

In a recent statement, Senator Max Baucus, D-Mont., said that the Senate Finance Committee, which he chairs, will consider whether to elliminate at least some of the tax advantages of pass through entities by taxing them as corporations. The statement relates to deficit reduction and tax reform measures that were the subject of a series of hearings held the the Finace Committee this spring.
