McGuire Woods has
included Siegel et. al. v. JP Morgan Chase Bank in its latest update on "Recent Cases of Interest to Fiduciaries". In Siegel et. al. v. JP Morgan Chase Bank,
the Florida Court of Appeals found that the trial court incorrectly treated the issue of whether withdrawals were appropriate and authorized. The court held that the trust agreement gave no power to the trustee to invade the corpus and give gifts unless requested by settlor.
