McGuire Woods has included James Munn v. Michael D. Briggs in its latest update on "Recent Cases of Interest to Fiduciaries". In James Munn v. Michael D. Briggs, the Court of Appeals of California declined to recognize the tort of interference with an expected inheritance where the beneficiary has an adequate remedy in probate.
