IRS Grants Extension of Time to File Form 8939: "Allocation of Increase in Basis for Property Acquired from a Decedent"

The IRS has announced that Form 8939 is not due on April 18, 2011 (the deadline for the decedents last tax return) and should not be filed with their final 1040 tax return.  The IRS has not released the new due date for the Form 8939 but expect to publish the due date in the near future.
