Robert Frank posted an article The Myth of the Permanent Rich, Wall Street Journal, March 23, 2011.

Based on data from 2004 to 2007, the article asserts that in the United States the rich do not necessarily keep getting richer and the poor do not necessarily keep getting poorer.
