Taylor made arrangements to have her jewelry collection auctioned off, with the proceeds going to the Elizabeth Taylor AIDS Foundation and amfAR. The rest of her fortune was to be split between her children and other charities. According to a source, "what is causing all the problems is not the money she made during her life, but rather what should happen to the millions she is going to make after her death."
