New Bill Would Simplify Returns for Seniors

H.R. 1058, Seniors' Tax Simplification Act of 2011 introduced by Rep. John Fleming (R-LA) would create a new Form 1040SR simplifying filing requirements for seniors by making social security benefits, distributions from retirement plans and other income common to seniors more easily reportable.
