H.R. 1191: Require Taxes Paid by Conscientious Objectors go to Non-Military Purposes

Congressman John Lewis (D-Georgia) introduced H.R. 1191 on March 17, 2011.  The Bill would require that income, estate, and gift taxes paid by conscientious objectors would not be allowed to be spend on military programs.  The Bill is currently under review by the House Ways and Means Committee.
