Despite Changes to Estate Tax Life Insurance May Be Worth Keeping

In the article, Consider Keeping Life Insurance, Wall Street Journal columnist, Anne Tergesen explains how past and future changes to the estate tax may impact the decision to continue paying life insurance premiums. Tergensen notes that for many, life insurance may remain a suitable means securing an insured's legacy. Tergensen also review ways of making policies more affordable through changing the face amount, and sharing premium costs with beneficiaries as well as the option of liquidating a policy though life settlement.
