Guy Adams published a new article Ansel Adams, the 'Lost Negatives' and a $200m Lawsuit, The Independent, March 17, 2011.

A ten-year old court battle has recently been settled between the Estate of Ansel Adams and the owner of negatives of pictures allegedly taken by Adams, the "father" of U.S. photography.  The Estate claimed that the negatives were not of pictures taken of Adams.  The owner of the negatives countersued for slander.  Each side agreed that it will pay its own legal costs and that the owner of the negatives can still sell the prints as long as he doesn't market them as the work of Adams.   .
