David Shayne, an attorney at Holland & Knight, published an article entitled, "Illinois Revises Its Powers of Attorney for Health Care and Property Law."  The article discusses the new Power of Attorney Act passed in the Illinois General Assembly.  Specifically the article discusses the new duties of the agent, limits on witnesses, and the effects on health care.
