The Senate passed a measure repealing the new 1099 reporting requirements that were included in the health care bill. The Senate voted 81-17 and now awaits action from the House of Representatives where Congressman Daniel E. Lungren (R-CA) has introduced the Small Business Paperwork Mandate Elimination Act (H.R. 4) to repeal the new requirements.
