TD Bank Seeks Exception Under FATCA

TD Bank Financial Group commented on preliminary guidance issued regarding the Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act.  In the comments submitted, TD Bank sought an exception to the reporting and withholding requirements for accounts in countries subject to high tax rates and where adequate information about nonresidents is shared with the U.S.
