In the article published in The Trust Advisor Blog written by Scott Martin and titled "Dennis Hopper Trust Suit against Estranged Wife Becomes Risky Business," the author examines the legal ramifications of Dennis Hopper's death in light of his unfinished divorce proceeding.  Mr. Hopper did seem to have a viable prenuptial agreement, at the time when it was drafted, which clearly provided for the alternative contingencies in the case of the divorce or his death.  Because the divorce proceeding was initiated, but not concluded, prior to Mr. Hopper's death, his entire estate was put in legal limbo and his wishes questioned, notwithstanding the presence of the estate plans that were in place.
