Daniel B. Evans, a tax software consultant to Leimberg & LeClair, Inc, wrote a couple of emails to Catherine V. Hughes of the Treasury asking for clarification on issues regarding the gift tax and whether 2010 rates should apply to gifts made prior to 2010.
