Kristine S. Knaplund: The New Uniform Probate Code's Surprising Gender Inequities

Kristine S. Knaplund, professor of law at Pepperdine University School of Law, recently published an article entitled, "The New Uniform Probate Code's Surprising Gender Inequities."  The article examines the issue of postmortem conception and whether the deceased will be presumed to be the parent of the child.  Specifically, the article lays out the history of assisted reproduction and discusses current case law affecting the area under the Uniform Probate Code.
