Investment Company Institute Submits Comments on Stock Basis Reporting Regulations

Karen Lau Givian of the Investment Company Institute has offered comments on proposed regulations regarding the reporting of stock basis (REG-101896-09).  Her letter specifically cites concerns regarding average cost, gifted and inherited shares, flexibility for transfer statements and the February 15 reporting deadline.
