Winder: How to Hire Your First Employee

TrackBacks (0) Comments (0)

Jason Winder of the MakeLeaps Blog has posted concise guidance for new business owners looking to hire their first employees.  Winder emphasized the emotional and instinctual elements of the hiring process, noting that people "have a library of subconscious indicators detailing habits, body language and facial ticks that untrustworthy people exhibit."  He suggests that such "gut reactions" are reliable standards for the assessment of an applicant.  The article also discusses how to write a job description and provides a useful "cheat sheet" for interviews.
